Jean Rhodes is the Frank L. Boyden Professor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston and Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring. She is one of the most prolific and cited researchers in the field of youth mentoring.

Dr. Rhodes is the co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed studies and both the third and fourth editions of the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring, the standards used across the field for how to build quality youth mentoring programs and relationships.
