Teaching Students to Recruit Mentors and Build Networks of Support

This presentation, led by Dr. Sarah Schwartz, covered strategies to help college students to identify, recruit, and maintain relationships with mentors and to build networks of support. The presentation discussed research on Connected Scholars, an evidence-based curriculum designed to teach students to recruit mentors, and allowed participants to explore how they may integrate strategies into their own programming.
