MentorPRO Renews its Partnership with the Robert and Donna Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences at UMass Boston

MentorPRO today announced the renewal of its partnership with the Robert and Donna Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences at UMass Boston for a second year, continuing to support the college’s nursing student Learning Community.

“There is something fitting about deepening our roots on the campus where MentorPRO’s research began. The Manning College team is building community among nursing students at a moment when the profession needs every one of them to make it through,” said Jean Rhodes, PhD, Co-founder of MentorPRO and Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at UMass Boston.

Year Two continues platform support for the Learning Community, where roughly half of students were actively engaging by spring 2026, with in-person engagement events planned for the fall to bring even more students into the community.

The renewal continues to be grounded in peer-reviewed research linking structured peer mentoring with stronger retention, belonging, and well-being for health sciences students.
