MentorPRO Partners with the Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy and Michigan Job ChalleNGe
MentorPRO, an evidence-based mentoring platform, today announced a partnership with the Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy and Michigan Job ChalleNGe to support structured mentoring for cadets during their post-residential and workforce-readiness phases. The partnership brings MentorPRO’s evidence-based platform to a continuum of Michigan programs that prepare young people for academic, career, and life success.

The Michigan Youth ChalleNGe Academy operates a rigorous, military-modeled residential program focused on academic recovery, leadership development, and character formation. The Michigan Job ChalleNGe extends that work into structured workforce readiness, supporting graduates as they enter careers and continued education. Mentoring is integral to both phases. MentorPRO supports staff with real-time visibility into match engagement, goal progress, and relationship health, and supports cadets and mentors with a mobile-first experience designed to keep communication consistent and outcomes-focused. The platform will also help align goals across academic and workforce settings, giving staff a clearer view of how cadets are transitioning into employment and training.
This partnership joins MentorPRO’s expanding work with the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe community and builds on peer-reviewed research linking structured, technology-supported mentoring with stronger educational, career, and well-being outcomes for young people in transition. Michigan’s data and implementation lessons will feed into a growing, multi-state learning agenda around post-residential mentoring.
