MentorPRO Partners with Kaufman County to Advance Juvenile Justice Mentorship Initiative

Boston, MAMentorPRO is excited to announce a new partnership with Kaufman County’s Juvenile Justice and Truancy Prevention Initiative, expanding access to evidence-based mentorship for students at risk of chronic absenteeism and court involvement.

This initiative reflects Kaufman County’s strong commitment to educational success and early intervention. Drawing on experience addressing truancy cases, Judge Amy Tarno has championed proactive solutions that connect youth and families with meaningful support before challenges escalate.

Developed in collaboration with Dr. Jean Rhodes, co-founder and leading scholar in youth mentoring, MentorPRO translates decades of research into practical tools, outcome measurement, and training. Through our platform and MentorPRO Academy, local mentors and program leaders will access structured guidance and professional development grounded in evidence.

Together, MentorPRO and Kaufman County are advancing a prevention-first approach that strengthens young lives, supports families, and keeps students engaged in school.
