In these partner schools, students exhibit proficiency levels in reading and math that are 40% and 50% lower, respectively, compared to the district average. City Year’s AmeriCorps members work alongside teachers to create inclusive learning environments, fostering a sense of belonging and supporting students in realizing their full potential.
Dr. Jean Rhodes, co-founder of MentorPRO and Director of the UMass Boston Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring, brings over three decades of research in youth mentoring to the platform.
