MentorPRO Announces the Renewal of its Partnership with Silver Lining Mentoring for a Second Year

MentorPRO today announced the renewal of its partnership with Silver Lining Mentoring for a second year, continuing a collaboration that brings structured, evidence-based mentoring to young people impacted by the foster care system in Massachusetts.

“Silver Lining Mentoring serves young people who deserve every ounce of consistency we can give them, and we are grateful to continue supporting Mobile, Christina, and their entire team. They have been generous, candid, and deeply committed partners, and Year Two is about building on what is working and going deeper together,” said Jean Rhodes, PhD, Co-founder of MentorPRO.

Year Two follows a thoughtful first year of collaboration. MentorPRO continues to support Silver Lining staff with structured engagement tracking, goal progression, and visibility into match health, with a shared focus on bringing more young people into consistent, sustained mentoring relationships. This next phase will also explore how platform data can inform advocacy around stability and supports for youth in care.

The renewal continues to be grounded in peer-reviewed research linking long-term, structured mentoring with stronger academic, social-emotional, and well-being outcomes for young people who have experienced foster care. The partnership positions Silver Lining and MentorPRO to contribute new insights to child welfare and mentoring fields about how best to support relationships over time.
