Manahawkin, NJ (February 6, 2025) – MentorPRO, the pioneering digital mentoring platform, today announced a strategic partnership with Elev8 Baltimore.
This collaboration brings together MentorPRO’s evidence-based digital platform with Elev8’s comprehensive youth support services, which have successfully provided out-of-school-time activities and health services to thousands of students and families.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in youth mentoring,” said Dr. Jean Rhodes, MentorPRO co-founder and Frank L. Boyden Professor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. “Our platform’s proven track record, showing 92% student retention and significant improvements in GPA and well-being, aligns perfectly with Elev8’s mission.”
Elev8’s established track record includes connecting over 1,000 students with quality out-of-school programs and providing services to more than 30,000 students through school-based health centers. The organization’s comprehensive approach includes extended learning opportunities, school-based health services, and family support resources.
Dr. Rhodes, recipient of the 2024 Urie Bronfenbrenner Award for Lifetime Contribution to Developmental Psychology, brings over three decades of mentoring research expertise to this partnership. Her work, including more than 250 peer-reviewed publications, has shaped the foundation of evidence-based mentoring practices nationwide.
The partnership will utilize MentorPRO Academy’s comprehensive training programs to ensure mentors are equipped with the latest evidence-based practices. The Academy offers specialized courses in therapeutic mentoring and youth development, delivered through an engaging digital platform.
