Ivy Tech Community College (Anderson Campus) Partners with MentorPRO
MentorPRO today announced a partnership with Ivy Tech Community College’s Anderson campus, embedding evidence-based mentoring into advising and student success supports for new students. The one-year initiative is designed to generate usage and outcome data that can inform a statewide use case across Indiana’s community college system.
“Community colleges are where mentoring can move the needle fastest, and the Anderson team understands that advisors are most powerful when they have real visibility into how students are doing. Levi Lawson and Chancellor Mia Johnson have built a campus that is fully committed to this work, and we are honored to support them,” said Jean Rhodes, PhD, Co-founder of MentorPRO.
The program pairs new students with advisors and mentors through MentorPRO’s mobile-first experience, keeping human-to-human relationships at the center while giving staff structured engagement tracking and early-warning signals. The campus plans to connect platform data with registrar and learning-management data to measure retention and GPA impact, with results targeted for presentation at Ivy Tech’s One Summit conference. The collaboration kicked off with onboarding in June 2026.
The initiative builds on peer-reviewed research, validated with registrar data from more than 2,000 students, linking structured mentoring with higher retention and GPA.
