Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy Renews its Partnership with MentorPRO

MentorPRO today announced the continuation of its partnership with the Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy, operated by the Idaho Military Division, with a new full-year agreement supporting post-residential mentoring for cadets through mid-2027.

“Idaho has become a model academy within the ChalleNGe community, the program other states are told to learn from. That is a credit to a staff that treats the post-residential months with the same seriousness as the residential phase, and we are honored to keep supporting them,” said Jean Rhodes, PhD, Co-founder of MentorPRO.

The academy serves 16-18 year olds through a structured residential experience followed by a year of community-based mentoring. MentorPRO supports that phase with goal tracking, engagement monitoring, and real-time visibility into match health for staff, while cadets and mentors stay connected through a mobile-first experience. Idaho staff have also co-presented on MentorPRO’s national webinar series, sharing implementation lessons with newer ChalleNGe sites.

The renewal builds on peer-reviewed research linking structured, technology-supported mentoring with stronger educational, career, and well-being outcomes for young people in transition.
